My Friendly Tech Helper brings over 25 years of experience supporting and training everyone from startup teams to individual learners of all ages. This background taught us that the best tech support isn’t about knowing every feature of every device; it’s about understanding people, listening carefully, explaining clearly, and providing clear, written instructions for the future.

Our mission began after helping an 83 year old family member navigate their devices. We saw firsthand the need for patient, personalized support that treats users with dignity. Every client deserves someone who makes them feel capable, not confused.
Your Security is Our Priority
To protect our you from impersonation scams, we have built Security by Design into everything we do:

Identity Protection: We do not publish our staff’s names or photos online. This prevents scammers from using our details to pretend they are us.

The No-Call Policy: To prevent you becoming a victim of a phone scam, we will never call you. Our support happens only when you initiate the call to us or join our pre-scheduled, secure Google Meet sessions. If someone calls you claiming to be My Friendly Tech Helper, you can hang up immediately knowing it is a scam.

Our text messaging system will never ask you about payments.

We securely catalog your preferences and needs for vision, hearing, and mobility accommodations in order to customize our support to your real life. We will never request details around your medical history, disability status, financial resources, or other personal details unrelated to your support request. If we realize later that we have documented sensitive information from a support session, we will email you a nondescript summary to confirm you want us to keep it in your profile.
