To help keep you protected from scams, My Friendly Tech Helper operates under a strict security protocol. Use this checklist to verify that you are always communicating with us safely:
 

  • We Will Never Call You: You only speak with us when you initiate the call or join a pre-scheduled session by phone or video.

  • We Never Ask for Your Passwords: We will help you set up secure systems, but we will never ask you to tell us or send us your passwords for storage.

  • We Only Use Secure, Invited Links: Our remote sessions happen via secure Google Meet links sent directly to your registered email. We never ask you to download unknown software from a website link over the phone.

  • We Never Ask for Payment via Gift Cards: All billing is handled securely through our website and/or Stripe. We will never ask for Wire Transfers, Zelle, or Gift Cards as payment.
